Today's challenge really threw me for awhile. I am not a real graphic stamper, and this art is really graphic and crisp...however, I perservered and this is what I finally finished with...a bit graphic, but more my style...
I used a CB folder and The Big Shot to emboss on Kraft and then used Luminart to HANDPAINT the reeds and the bird. It's hard to tell, but they have a shimmery appearance to them.
I finished by mounting it to Really Rust and Choc. Chip, and using the sentiment from One Touch of Nature. The felt ribbon added to the organic/rustic feel of the colors and the bird.

Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.

Mikki, someone once told me perserverance always pays off, and that's certainly the case with this card and you! I love what you've come up for inspiration. Asian just happens to be my passion, but for those that it doesnt move, I suspect it can be intimidating. Trust me, girl, you do asian as well as anyone.
